About
Back in 2020, I found myself sitting alone with more time than I knew what to do with. The future felt uncertain. The life I thought I was building had paused, and suddenly I was left alone with my thoughts. What surprised me was how much I enjoyed it.
I've always keen on noticing the details.
The way a room feels before guests arrive.
The smell of your dad's jacket hanging by the door.
The quiet disarray after the party is over.
The last bit of daylight before the streetlights turn on.
What I've always loved most about atmosphere isn't just beautiful spaces, but the emotions hidden inside them.
The meaning of each chair at a family dinner.
The parking lot where your friends met after midnight.
The drive home after dropping off your last friend.
The porch light left on waiting for you to come home.
Candles became my way of holding onto those feelings. I wanted to create objects that felt like memories. Things that could sit quietly in your home and remind you to pay attention to your life while it was happening. Because the older I get, the more I realize life isn't made up of milestones.
It's made up of ordinary moments that become extraordinary in hindsight.
A summer that ended too quickly.
A friendship that changed you.
A city you thought you'd never miss.
A version of yourself you wish you could visit one more time.
A person who still feels like home.
Each candle is my attempt to preserve those moments for a little longer. Inspired by a feeling, a season, a chapter, or a memory, they're an invitation to slow down, look around, and notice the life you're already living. Whether you've been here since the beginning or you've just arrived, welcome.
I'll leave the light on.
Stay for as long as you'd like.
